Default Lower controll arms!!! Please help

Is there a trick to taking the original arms off. I am all unbolted but the nuts seem like they are welded in or something. I have been spraying them with WD40 and beating on them. But the are not moving. Should I heat them up then try to hammer them out? Need help. Thanks

did you support the control arm with a floor jack? you may need to raise the control arm a little to get the bolt out, be careful those springs have some tension in them.

wd 40 doesnt do anything. get some PB penetrating oil. also, a braker bar, pneumatic tools, and upper body strength are your friend

Which car do do have... I just pulled my original stuff from an '88 GT a while ago and found on one of the control arms facing the back plate to the brakes, what appears to be a nut is not a nut. Well, at least it doesnt spin off. It is part of the bracket. You need to go from the bolt end to take the arm off.
