The CNC TFS heads from Summit are TEA heads. Brian Tooley is now on their payroll.

TFS has come out with there own CNC ported 185 cc heads for the small block Ford. These have the valves slightly rotated in the chamber making for more piston to valve clearance.
But you still need to have the pistons notched.

Which is why I don't buy from Summit either.

Not on a stock shortblock. They are only 2.02" valves and the TW design will fit a 2.02" valve on stock shortblock.

BTW, this is a moot point because that's way too much head for this car.

i have the tfs-tw heads on my mustang & really like them. no fitting problems. the 2.02 valves does clear the pistons unless you run a huge cam. good luck .

its not so much the lift that inter fears its the duration how long the valve stays open. the tfs tw heads are the only heads out there with the 2.02 valve that will work with the stock pistons, like stated before it is because the valves are rotated. more towards the center of the chamber.

TFS-TW's.
Be careful about any porting because you can wind up more more head than a 5.0 can use............

I just noticed you're running 30# injectors...seems like a lot for the combo you're running...even w/ new heads 24's should be more than enough.

I'd go w/ the Twisted Wedge.....try to find some used ones. You can usually save some $ that way.

30# should be fine, it sounds like he will use them up soon enough, as long as he gets tunes when he does a bunch of little upgrades or at each big upgrade, the 30#s will be good. Its overkill, but they are usually the same price as 24#s and if you might
exceed the 24#s its a good idea to just buy the 30#s, youll save yourself a set of injectors and the time installing them.
