RE: solid or polyurithane motor mounts?
solid will transfer power better, and of course be stronger. poly mounts will absorb some of the shock of a hard launch but will make the car more livable on the street if you have a lumpy cam. i have a torque link on my motor which is a solid rod that holds the engine down so it cant twist when you floor it and i dont notice any issues as far as vibration goes and its my DD....but i have the stock cam which has a smooth idle

I have solid mounts and the vibration isn't really noticable. There is a little vibration just sitting but once you start going you won't notice a difference. You will also burn your tires off when you put solid ones on. It gets torque to the ground a heck of a lot better.

For a daily, I'd go w/ poly mounts, but I know people w/ solid that don't mind the harshness.

well it depends, like the cam in my car is a lil rough so i got the poly mounts because it would of killed me with the solid mounts, no we are not driving lincoln but it still needs to be nice to drive.
