dont know much about engines but is there anyway to make a 1993 mustang have a dohc ?

yes by putting in a mod motor but no you cant make apush rod motor a ohc

and why would you want to make things more costly by doing that and more pain in hte ****

dude **** that... go all the way and make it a VTEC... every body knows they are the fastest S.O.B.'s out on the road. Most of us mustang guys just dont have the skill to do the swap... if we knew how we could EASILY see 10's with nothing but the VTEC, a bottle of NOS brand octane booster and a TYPE R sticker here and there. That would be the fastest mother fawker out on the road



Dude, what the hell kind of question was that? Ive asked and said some stupid things, but umm... wow. If you dont know the answer to that question, how did you plan on accomplishing it if it was even possible?

DOHC stands for Dual Overhead Cam... Meaning the cams are in the heads. 5.0 motors have a single cam right above the crank and therefor use lifters and pushrods to lift the rockers which open the valves, which are in the heads, above the block. For what It would cost you in machine work and parts, you could buy an insane crate motor.
