Seat Belt Question (Will These Fit?)

They came off a 93 GT. I want to put them on my 89 LX. They'll work right?

they may not, i forget the years but i know my 88 has buttons that the door strikes on and in later years the the seatbelts dont have those buttons

Buttons?
Don't see why they wouldnt fit, it's just one of them annoying *** torque head bolts.

Well, I don't think there are any buttons on there, I'll have to look tomorrow.

My seatbelts don't retract well, but when I open the door, they will retract. What do the doors have to do with the retracting of the belts? Primetime, is this what you are talking about?
