Anybody road race a 5.0? What cam are you using?

Well, when I road raced my car I used an Erson cam with 226/234 dur and .568/.568 lift on a 110 deg lsa. I shifted the car at 6400 but could carry power to 67-6800 if I really needed.

But, you should really match your cam to your car rather than what may be a completely different combo. So, perhaps a list of mods would be a good start...

i road race and i run a 234/244 duration .520/.544 lift cam. but as said before, match it to the engine

you can run a pritty wild cam for road racing, make sure to check and see if there is a limit in the class you are going to run. also you want your power to be its best from 3500-7k
