Default Rattle Under Car

When I'm driving in any gear at this certain RPM around 1500, I hear a rattling noise from under my car around the shifter, but it's a little hard to pinpoint. My friend says it could be the cats rattling, any ideas?

weld them back .. but unless your dirving threw a hay field no real reason for them.. they dont create enough heat to bother you in the cabin..
and unless you start dumping raw fuel in them.. it should be all ok.. i just cut mine off.. well only the one that was rattling.. it popped a weld right toward the back of the cat.. couldent notice it unless i reached up and felt it with my hand

No need to weld the shield back on. Usually it's just one or two corners loose.
Just got to the Home Depot and pick up some longer stainless steel hose clamps.
That'll button it right down.
