Help with starter
 

Hey guys, i need some help with my starter. Just bought the stang and working out some lil bugs here and there. The only way i can start the car is if i push start it[:'(] If you take the cable from the starter to the solenoid and touch it to the solenoid its like takin that wire directly to the positive battery cable. Huge sparks! It supposed to be a new starter and i put a new solenoid on it about a week and a half ago(needless to say i havent been driving it) My theory is that there is a hot wire somewhere that is not supposed to be hot. Got any ideas??
