Debris would be taken care of by the filter of course, how do those ram air hoods work? Is yours functional Steve?

I have a functional ram air on my stang. I do feel a little extra power but by no means does it give you 30 extra horses[sm=noooo.gif] Mine is attached to the underside of my hood. It comes with a special air box so that when you close the hood it seals to the air box. I try not to drive my stang when it's raining because I still worry about getting water in there but I'd really worry about water if I had the ram air your talking about. The main reason I put the ram air in is because 1)I don't think your going to get as much air from the fender mount air box as you would from the hood mount type and 2) I had CAI but really all your sucking in is the warm air from the engine compartment rather then the cooler air from directly outside. Just thought I'd put my $.02 worth in
