Default Spec Clutch

I just purchased a 93 GT back a few months ago. I had it and month and the clutch started slipping. Last Friday come to find out that whoever adjusted the clutch did it all the way tight. Needless to say it ruined a nice Centerforce clutch and may have inevitably ruined my Spec alum. flywheel. It was turned, but now when you run your finger over it it's wavy. So in the meanwhile I order a Spec +2 clutch from a speed shop in Indy, which is only a middleman, which I could have skipped when I found out that the Spec was a problem. We got it all back together and clutch was digging in to the bellhousing. Called the guy I ordered it from, he passed us on to Spec. Then Spec said to grind the bellhousing....WHAT!!!. Pay good money for a clutch and then you have to make it work.. Anyways now I have to pay to have the clutch replaced again. Spec is sending a clutch that is supposed to be for the 92-93 Mustang GT, since those two years are supposed to be different, that is what Spec said. So all of this being said has anyone had similar problems with Spec, and what would you do with the flywheel?

Yep had the same exact problem...Grinded to hell out of my bellhousing and it still wouldn't clear..so spec sent me the "right" pressure plate and it still hit...So i promise you i will NEVER buy another spec clutch again.

I Was told centerforce was a damn good clutch, cause of the counterweights making more pressure the higher the RPMs, and the the weights help with pedal pressure also. Last thread ibrought this up in said it sucked, i don't think it would.
