Please help 89 GT backfiring
My 89 GT is currently backfiring. The car runs fine when I drive normally but everytime when I attempt to smash the gas pedal above 3000rpm, the exhaust start to make those popping noise and the engine hesitate. The car have a few basic mods. shorty headers, pro chamber, cat back.........I've checked and tested the vacuum hoses, EGR valve, MAP sensor, cap & rotors, plugs and the all seem fine. I can't figured out the problems and this issue is very annoying. What else can it be???
