I want to convert my gt to appear as a lx what do I need to do? Do I just need the lx front and rear bumper? And take the gt side moldings off?

I am in the process of doing this also. You will need the front bumper, rear bumper, take off the GT sideskirts, and replace the GT moldings w/ LX ones. Also, when you take the side skirts off its going to leave holes from where you have to drill out the rivets. You can just fill them up w/ body filler thought and there wont be a problem. Thats it!

my GT was converted to an LX too, before i got it tho. youll have to just tuck away the wires for the fog lights also

i like the LX look a lot better. plus if i had the GT mouldings and bumper i would probably scrape going up my driveway all the time. then you can wire your foglight switch to do something cool, like spit tacks or oil out the back when your getting chased by the cops lol

LoL there ya go.. now your thinking Seriously though, I like the LX alot better also (obviously or I wouldnt of changed). I think they look alot cleaner and simple. They are just the sh*t. No other explanation lol

Because I liked the GT because I thought that it was badass and than 2-3 years later I realized that I didnt want the GT anymore and I didnt want to sell it and get an LX because its my first Stang so I just converted it. It really didnt cost me any extra because I needed a new front/rear bumper anyway.
