Tire Size on 18x9.5 Rims
 

I was wondering how wide of a tire I could put on 18x9.5 rims. The tires will be ???/35-18's. Any input will be apreciated.

id go up to 315

I think u need a min of 10 in rim for 315 , I would go max 305 with a 9.5 rim...

i wouldnt go larger than 285 or 295 on a 9.5" wheel. you have to keep in mind that even though the tire is technically wider, when you cram it onto a thinner wheel you actually will make the contact patch of the tire, slimmer. i have 275/40/17 on my 17x8 stock cobra wheels and I measured the width of the patch i layed. it wasnt much wider then that of a stock 245/45/17 but its because i have a 10.5" tire crammed onto a 8" wheel
