Default Ok here i have a question

I see alot of people talking about the smog pump elimination bracket/pulleys. I know what they do and how they work that is not the question. Could you not just remove the pump and break the fins of the pump and use the pulley still this way? Have the pump body and pulley just has no fins to move air and resistance to the belt. Not looking to do it but couldnt this also work as well as a elimination bracket/pulley? Does anyone see any harm in it for future problems?[sm=feedback.gif]

that would work, but you would still have that extra weight on the front of your nose. you could just get a shorter belt and bypass it altogether. save the old belt for inspection if you have it there.
