Q about AOD w/ 4.10s

Q about AOD w/ 4.10s
Alright...so I had my 4.10 gears put in while back (which I LOVE I might add...even though I run like...3k rpms on the highway
) And I can really feel a difference. I do have a slight problem though. The rpm's go up quicker (of course) but when it shifts out of first...like if I'm just accelerating 'normal' it seems to shift from 1st, straight to 3rd...sometimes goes into 2nd gear for like...a second... Is this normal? Other people have this type of thing goin on? Or could it be...maybe a Modulator Valve??? I dunno...lend me some knowledge...

OK I had 92 with 3:73 and i had the same problem but come to find out when your driving start in first then go into drive and bring it right back down into first. That will be second but you come to a stop make sure you are in drive or it goes right back into first. Its a shock the first time or just buy a ratchet shifter.

I actually have a Transgo Shift kit (AOD-HP) w/ the High Rev kit...but i went to see how much it would be for installation...and the guys said.."Eh..I'd probly do it for ya...for around..$375" I was like...DAMN..f' all that jazz...that's too much just to put a damn shift kit in...so I was thinkin bout re-selling the shift kit...should I check other places? Or is that price about right? :|
