Looks good. I just got done painting my motor. I'll post some pics if you want. Blue Block, Grey heads, Blue Valve Covers, Grey Pan, Blue Timing Chain. It looks wierd though because if you go from bottom to top its grey, blue, grey, blue.

yeah i've had a hard time figuring out what the other colors i'm going to paint it. i know for sure i wanna wrinkle paint my valve covers black and i think i'm going to paint the timing cover silver, or "try" and polish it up. but im totally lost on the upper and lower manifold. i might paint the lower black, like the heads, and then try and polish the upper. i did try my hand at poishting the egr spacer and it didn't come out that bad so who knows. im just excited about finally doing stuff, it's been 6 months since i got the short block.
what do you guys think about painting the bay with a black sound deadener? i'm really into that idea right now, thought it might set the car off and make it look different. the car is red, and i dont think i'll ever paint it a different color, but i thought if the bay was coated with a black "deadener" spray it might look cool.

I primered and chipgaurded my whole interior and it came out REALLY good. That damn interior will NEVER rust lol. It feels exactally like rino liner for the bed of a truck. It has a rough surface. It would be interesting to see that on an engine bay. Also, it would be hard to spray it though because (chipgaurd) is really thick and it will drip down the sides of the bay if you dont do it right and than it will look like garbage so if you do that make sure that you have patients.
