RE: tell me what ya think. new paint
My friends dad owns a paintshop and he works there so he's pretty good at painting.
As for time, it depends. We just scuffed over my old paint which was a lighter blue, then masked, primered, and wet sanded . All of that took about 2 days. Then actually spraying base coat and clearcoat took about 3 hours. The spraying goes by pretty fast though. So i would say 4 days total. probably could've been done in 2-3 if we really worked hard. And we painted the door jams and we faded the engine bay so the blues come together it looks real nice actually i'l see if i can get a pic here soon. Thanks for the compliments guys

I paid about 100 bucks for sand paper, filler, tape, paper, scotch brite, and paper towels. then another 500 on paint, clear coat, and primer. so around $600 ish total maybe a lil more. but the the shop is called "Barry's Paint and Auto" out of Arlington, Washington, but my roommates dad is the owner so he let me and his son paint it for free as long as i didnt leave my car in the way. But i would suggest them the've had some cars in magazines and do awesome work.
