The thing is... I really dont have the cash for a welder (im spending 400 every 2 weeks on my car so Im BROKE AS HELL). I was just wondering if there was any alternative to doing this besides welding. And I do not want to spend the money to have someone toe it somewhere to have a bunch of little holes patched up. Also, noone answered this... is there anywhere that it may be possible to rent a welder? And if not... how much does a decent/good welder cost? Thanks alot fellas. Keep it comming...

r u talking about the screw holes? if so just use some body filler if you weld and grind down you will stil hav to use a little bit of filler.

Yea I was thinking about filler but I'm not sure yet... do you think that you can rent a welder at home depot or something?

ORIGINAL: Quik

there is this stuff from permatex that is metal filler. i used it to close up a holes in the back of the heads. when you mix it together its as hard as metal they claim and can be tapped and drilled if needed. the could work possibly
I agree with Quik this is the easiest way to fill the holes. check out my website 88Blue and click on my links page this should help you out a lot with your wire hiding and hole filling too

Well, its WAS pretty bad but Im getting everything straightened out now. The was just alot of rust in the interior, motor bay, spare area, etc. but thats all gone now (I wirebrushed, primered, and chipgaurded the whole thing). I am now putting my front suspension together because I should have my motor within the next couple months. Also, I need to have my interior finished, new doors, windows, hood, fenders, weather stripping, front bumper, sanded and primered by the end of March because my parents wont let me keep the car in the driveway unless its halfway decent looking because they dont want to stare at it. They just dont see what we see when we look at a stripped down car lol.
