Go to Home Depot, and rent a Lincol welder. If you use filler or any sort of puddy, the vibrations and stuff like that will loser those out and make em fall off or pop them back up.

Spot welding them is the best way to go. I want to do that too, but man thats alot of work when you aint got no space or have the ability to be with out your car =P

It'll look extremely nice though man, I've seen some of those done on the mustang mags and they look so clean with all of the junk gone =)
Well, I have space, and availability to be without the car so I think that I'm ok. Also, I've seen stangs with this done and they look sooo nice. I think that Im going to do a basically completly polished carb'd motor (valve covers, carb, manifold, pulleys, timing chain cover, anodized/polished electric water pump, alternator, etc. with some nice paint so it should come together pretty well.

Also, I have ZERO experience welding but my friend has tons so he will be the one helping me out lol.

mix it and put it in the holes just make sure the holes are clean metal. then just wait to it hardens then smooth it out. when all holes are done then get some filler and smooth the rest out or use high build primer before you paint

umm if they are just small pin holes why dont you just use some body filler, it lasts forever as long as you clean the metal goood and make sure there is no rust, seal it properly and it will last forever.
Very bad idea, the filler will break and crack and fall right out. Filler is not meant for filling holes. True you will need a very thin skim coat after you weld and grind, but please do it right or don't bother doing it at all. Yes you can rent a welder at almost any rental place. Flux core wire is fine for this.

yuk flux welders suck!!!
I don't know why you would say this. I use flux core wire almost every day. My welds all have to be up to AWS D1.1 standards, in other words my welds are all tested by mag particle and at times are xrayed. It's more about if you prep and weld correctly than flux core "sucking"

I will say that a gas shield is better for body work though, it's a much cleaner more pure weld so you have less of a chance of a corrosion prolem later on down the road.
