Well you say you ae getting the track heat top end kit right? So yeah you will need to get new injectors and 190lph fuel pump and maybe even want to upgrade your ignition with a 6A box.

i dont want to get the vortech cause im guessing its harder on the motor, since it makes a lot more power. Even with the powerdyne the motor likely wont last too long considering the mileage, but i want to try it lol.
It's not any harder than the Powerdyne given the same amount of boost (which wiill add the same amount of power). But it is a far better blower. And forget $2500, you can get an SC trim new for under $1800 shipped (Black Sanke just did).

I changed my mind on that, with the new pistons and other stuff on top of that, its too much money. I'm either going to go with the supercharger or trade it with some cash for a foxbody i'm interested in.

Get a Fox, and then throw a blower on it! That's what I'm doing. Going with the SC Trim Vortech and will run 8-10PSI, then again, I have a brand new engine in my bay.

hey this doesnt really have to do with this post, but i'm curious if i was just to go with a cheap motor rebuild and put blower on it im wondering how much the parts would cost. Lets say i just got some gt40 heads, forged pistons, and gt40 intake manifolds.

id go with the vortech for 2500 over the powerdyne for 2g... Vortech puts out nice numbers.

How much mileage? I have a 14lb procharger on a stock block w/ 150k for almost 3 years now w/ no probelms. These motors are tougher than you think.

306 is not a stroker, that better be a Lentech AOD or a 2000hp 'glide or someone is breaking it off in you, and that rwhp is not N/A.
