there shortys but equal length, they dont make equal length long tube, and there not that expensive $209, i got chrome because my dad useto have a bad trans am with headers on it, and he said theres a trick to stopping them from turning blueish/purpleish <-- lol @ ish. he said the trick is letting them heat up just right then shutting off and letting them cool down theyll turn a little but thats it. so i got the chrome ones. i was going to go with bassani shorty's but equal lengths sound better then shortys, because of the twists.

Sweet. The reason I went w/ the ceramics is,
1, they run cooler b/c of the finish and
2, the chrome ones turn and eventually look like shyt.
Let us know how that trick works out for you. Good price too. I paid 300 for the ceramics. They are a little bit of a chore to install but not to bad. they came w/ EVERYTHING needed and that made it nice as well. Great product IMO!!! Bassani's way over priced I think.

Have fun putting them in, the equals are bit of a pain and don't gain you more than 1 or 2 hp over unequal. When I put them on peoples cars I unbolt the motor mount and jack the engine up an inch or two, it makes all the differance and only takes a minute to do. Look for an install time of about 5-7 hours if you old parts come off ok.

im not doing it because of the hp gain, im doing it because of the sound diff. so ill have to jack the motor up to install them? does it have to stay jacked up or can i put it back to its original place once i install them.

You just lift it to get the clearnace to fit the header in, do it one side at a time, and let the motor down and retighten the mount bolt and move on the the next side. They are a tight fit anyways and you might need new plug wires with a different angle boot or boot sleeves to keep from burning them, also spark plug changes are a pain with them. That reminds me make sure you take out your spark plus when you do this. PM 87FiveO and ask him about this, he watched me put Bassanis on his car in about 4 hours, he did the disassembly though.
