Hey all....

I have a '95 GT with a 5.0L engine and 4spd stock tranny. The car has 127000 miles on it, and I've finally saved some money and time to work on it. The transmission is in poor shape, but I want to swap the stock auto tranny for a 5spd manual tranny. However, although I know my way around the end of a wrench, I'm not terribly sure about everything I need to do this. Does anyone know where i could get a step-by-step procedure and 'parts needed' list for this. Any other consideration you guys have would also be helpful.

if i remember right the hole where the shifter slides up into isnt quite big enough so u may need to cut or bend some metal, but im not 100% sure, ive never really worked on an auto stang the only 4 ive worked on are all t-5 5 speeds

Also in the january ( I think) issue of muscle mustang and fast fords the show this swap on a fox body shouldn't be to much differnence between fox and sn95 swap.

that west coast site is awsome i used it when i did my conversion. it's easy you'll be able to get it done.
