ok my dad has a 93 f150 with a 5.0. when he starts it up in the morning it will run fine and he can drive it as long as he wants. then when he shuts it off. abbout 5-10 minutes later he will come back and start it up and about 15-20 seconds later it will idle way down and die. then when he starts it back up it will run fine until u shut it back off and then do this again. does anyone have any suggestions PLEASE! help. thanks a lot. below are what have been replaced on the truck/

new fuel pump and filter
new throttle position sensor (tps)
new map sensor

have you guys tried to pull any codes? alll most sounds like a coil problem but I'm just guessing...02 sensors the stock ones? might be that..something is getting heat soaked

we pulled some codes and found that there was no flow in the egr valve. and that the thermactor air system was innoperatable. i dont know what that means does anyone know what the thermactor air system is
