Eric, sorry you are having issues with MSD, I have MSD on 2 Mustangs and have had no problems at all. You might want to check the wiring to make sure a bad ground or something has not caused the issue.

I had mine crap out on me after a month of driving, the car just turned off without warning,
I was lucky it was still under warranty.
if you send it back to them they will fix it for you
all msd ignitions have a 1 year warranty, just e-mail them and ask what it might be, they will let you know how to test it and see if it is messed.
mine has ran fine for a year after I got it fixed and it is still good.
but before you do, check all your connections, especially the grounds, they can corrode in a matter of seconds under the right conditions.
