Ok so if you all were keeping up with me I have a 88 Gt AOD with loads of km on it with all the paint stripped and one big F'in dent in it. I was going to paint it put rims and blow the engine.

I just found a 1993 Gt 5 Speed with 100,000 km with minor front end damage that I can pick up for 3,000 Canadian. I have all the parts to fix it, I will take my current mods stick em on this car and at least have something to drive in the mean time. The car is already black with black interior the guy says you can eat off the bellhousing. So I am going to hold off on my blower and buy this car instead. I already have a forged bottom end that I will make into a 331 instead of 306 over time.

What do you all think? Smart?

I don't see how you can lose on that deal, assuming the engine is mechaincally sound. Just be sure to do a carfax on it before you buy it. Good find!

The guy that is selling it is a friend of a friend and already did a carfax on it, he fixes mustangs for a living and heard word that I was looking for one and is giving me a deal on this one. Yeah its a awesome find I am going to look at the damage this weekend and see what kinda shape its in! I am sure either way I will take it I was going to paint this 88 Black so its a perfect body to work with. Plus this 88 has already been totalled as well..... My gf ran into a building with it!

Yeah plus the dude said its in amazing condition, it will be cheaper to swap all my mods to this thing than to paint and get all my body work done on my existing stang. About 1500 cheaper plus I will be able to get this thing back on the road in like 2-3 weeks when the snow is finally gone!
