Default Serpentine...

what makes it so great?

i have a 1996 explorer v-8 motor (roller block and gt40/p heads) and it has serpentine

what makes it so great compared with the older v-8 setups?

going back to the heads...what makes them so special and is there any thing different about them in terms of intake and header selection? i know the plugs are in a different position and this could mean i will have problems with header fitment

It just uses one belt instead of 2. There may be other advantages...not sure.

The gt-40p heads flow better than stock E7's or even the 3 bar GT-40's. You'll need headers that fit the P heads--FMS headers will fit or BBK makes some for it.

Your intake is similar to a cobra intake, but you'll need to upgrade your cam if you want any real performance out of it. it's a milder cam than the stock 5.0 mustang.
