4.10's will turn about 3 grand at 80 mph.
and run like a raped ape, my old notch went 13.20's on 4.10's and et streets.
my buddy had 3.73's and hated them, couldn't get out of the hole with them, on the mickeys...almost bogged
on an automatic, 4.10's are a must, if you don't mind going slower to save .05 mpg then go w/ the 3.73's.
3.55's only if your gonna put a blower on the car. other wise just leave them stock.

RE: 3.55 OR 3.73
3.55......I have 3.55's in my stang and love it......reason being is that my car is setup more for road and highway racing..not drag strip. better gas mileage and plus if your on the highway racing another stang with 3.73's you get them in the top end......it's a solid gear for all around fun, 3rd gear in a 3.55 is probably the best..at least in my setup...

Forgiv e me for not reading all of the above. If you're going forced induction, 3.55's will probably be better simply for traction purposes. However, the difference between tghe two is so negligible that you're not looking at a whole lot of increased RPM's and lack of top end with the 3.73's.
In other words, do what you want. Anything is better than nothing.

haha well since everyone with 3.55s is jumping in, i have them too! ...i had 4.10s and thought they were a bit much for my taste so i was looking to swap them with someone for either 3.55s or 3.73s... first guy that called had 3.55s so i took em' and i love them.

RE: 3.55 OR 3.73
There are to many people on hear that love low gears. I just put in 3.55's in my car and they work great. i think if you went any higher then it would at to high of rpm's on the highway. i push 2500 rpm's at 75. Just add more hp to the car that will counter act the low gears. OB on this site put 4.10's in his car when he had a slightly mod car and then added the 331 and now he wants to drop back down to 3.55's bc the gears are to low.
