where to get a block?

Default where to get a block?

hey i wanna do a 351 with a stroker kit to probably 393 where is the best place to get a block for decent money...?? should i go to a junk yard or online store...?? if you have bought a block where did you get it let me know

The cheapest way to get a 351W block would be to get it out of a old Bronco.

do u know what model bronco have this engines? im not familiar with them and i might want to get into another project like a 351w in the near future..

the Full Size Bronco from 1980 till like 95? or whenever they stopped making them, they have 351 windsors and 302 motors in them. The f series truck also ran windsor's so you can look into them also, but the full size bronco's in 78 and 79 ran the 351 modified so stay away from those years.

I think you are near Dallas.
Try some of the pull-a-part type wreckers in DFW area. They will make you buy the whole motor but they always seem to sell them real cheap.
Throw away all the crap off it that you don't/can't use.......
I'd look at F-150's and vans as well..........
