Default Water Pump Problems???

About 3 weeks ago my 5.0 blew the timing chain cover gasket. I went ahead and put a new one on along with a new water pump, thermostat, and all the normal s**t on the front. Well a day after that one, my water pump failed, shot a whole through the manufactored metal seal on the water pump, dont know how but did. Took it back got another one.Whilei was there got a new fan cluth as well. Also had to replace the gasket two other times. Now just tonight i blew i believe another water puimp gasket. What could be the problem??? I was punching it hard this time smoking a civic LOL, but i dont know why this would be doing this so often all of the sudden. As well as i have been getting horrible gas mileage. This was the first racing i haveattempted since i bought the car like 2 months ago. Runs strong for a stock stang. But my main problem is the cooling. i dont know whats going on as well as the unbelieveably bad gas mileage, can anyone please help me. Thanks

Default Water Pump Problems???

I have thought of that, but looks like the anitfreeze is comming from down below, like the bottom of the water pump, possibly the timing cover gasket again. Too f***ing cold to and snowy to get outside at 10 at night lol.All is definetly coming from below, i checked the hoses, all is fine, even the stock hose lol. But im clueless on why or how to prevent it. No use on having the car if i wont be able to punch it with out blowing something. If and a big if the H/G is blown could this result in the bad gas mileage, and wouldnt i be seeing smoke out my exhaust. thanks

there are a bunch of ways to check to see if your head gasket is gbad. one easy one (if you have compressed air) is to put the piston at TDC and pressurize the cylinder. then take off the radiator cap and listen into the rad. if you hear a hissing, then you have a leak in the head gasket.
