running a boost guage is not very difficult... like everyone else has posted you CAN run it from the vac tree... to get the most accurate feed it is best to take your source from as close to the TB as possible. another thing you can do to make your guage as accurate as possible is to use a section of metal brake line instead of rubber hose, the brake line will not expand and contract like a rubber hose will. it also will not deform under small amounts of external pressure(like running it through the firewall.
i use a section of brake line for the BOV in my turbo Probe, and i did notice a much crisper responce with the metal line

So is that going to be measuring boost, or vacuum if you run it off of the vacuum lines???
