car is too low

car is too low
before i had the roll bar in, when driving along at 35ish mph, occasionally large bumps\potholes in the road and most railroad track crossings that were rough would cause my car to grind the tires slightly on the top center of the fender. because the tires are wider than stock, this is causing the body to cut into the tire. now with the extra weight of the roll bar, its even more sensitive. what do i get to solve this...a taller rear spring¿ can the ones i have on there now be adjusted¿

Seems to me a roll bar shouldn't be that heavy. Have you ever had 2 or 3 passengers in your car? I Have a 95 GT with 100k+ on the clock that needs new shocks/struts, and it doesn't do that. It's most likely your shocks and struts that are worn. Maybe just try slowing down over bumps. Is your car lowered?

Did you replace anything right before the tires started rubbing? Anything might make a difference, so let's go through the list. Did it start happening after you swapped in the Cobra axles? If it did, did you replace the shocks? Is it only in the rear that it rubs? Maybe get some stiffer, non-progressive shocks back there.

as for what all got swapped, i dotn know. it was back when i was working massive overtime and didnt haev the time to do the work myself, so i had a shop do it. when i took it to them they did the 5 lug conversion and swapped out the 7.5 rear to the 8.8, and put a new transmission in
yes, it is only the rear that rubs. i know if i can just raise it up, dont know how far, maybe an inch, it wont do it any more

i was checking if there were other things to do before rolling the fender...the springs were adjustable, a ½" drive was all that was needed. i took it up about 3\4", that helped a bit
