I was bored earlier and was searching through ebay for some stuff and I cam apon a PowerPipe.

Found this

What is a power pipe? Whats the purpose? Does it really increase boost? And why the hell is it so expensive, its just a pipe?

Anderson’s Power Pipe relocates the filter and mass air meter in the fenderwell, so instead of leaving your filter under the hood gulping in hot engine air, with a Power Pipe you’ll be feeding your engine nice cool air. Fancy way of saying CAI.

I've heard good/bad things about PowerPipes. I have heard that they will increase boost but than I've heard that they make no difference. So, all I can say is talk to people with personal experience w/ them.

They are a good idea, they make the air intake cooler that ebables you to run a ever so slight bit of timing, as well the flow path of the tube gains you a few pounds of boost ( why.... I dont know). Its a glorified CAI is all it is but when running boost heat, and flow are what either makes or breaks your engine Along with timing and FP of course. My tuner told me that on a well breathing engine with the SC or the Novi you can still see 10# of boost with a powerpipe and pulley.
