Default timing....

I installed a cobra intake manifold and it will not let me adjust my timing to even close to 10* my tfi module hits the thermostat housing. I took some pictures and on the first pic i am showing where the tfi module is hitting the housing. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can adjust my timing, im sure im not the only person with a cobra intake manifold. Any help would be appreciated.

Pull the top off, mark on the dist where the rotor button is pointing, pull the dist out, rotate the whole thing counter clockwise until the module plug is pointed to the drivers fender, then put back in making sure the rotor aligns to the same point on the dist. I have had this same issue on some aftermarket intakes.

it hits my AC
Wow, will it go around behind the AC? If not, you may have to grind the thermostat housing. Most that I have seen modified are done so, in the spot you are hitting in your first pic.
