Default Intake set-up

I was looking at a cobra intake system. I was wondering if it would even fit my car. If not, does anyone have any suggestions on an intake set-up for a 1995 Gt. What would be the best bang for the buck???

How much money are you looking to spend? If you can afford it I would go with an Edelbrock or Trickflow. They will prob run you about $600 brand new (shipped). But well worth it to some poeple who are looking for that extra power.

i would recommend going with trickflow its what i just bought for my 95. and it cost a lil more for 94-95's cause we have to buy the intake elbow or the adapter for it to fit and they usually run around 100 bucks. so check out summitracing.com thats where i bought mine and goodluck and i pmed u back

Any intake that fits an 87-93 5.0 will fit yours, but you'll need the elbow adapter. If you shop around online, you can actually find the TFS Track Heat for under $450 [US$]. It would definitely be worth it, and once you upgrade your MAF and TB, you'll really notice a difference.

Before you buy it, look around at the classifieds here and on ebay. No offense to your friend, but if you can find it cheaper, why not?

Street heat~$400 new
Track heat~$450 new

You should be able to find either of those for $100 below new cost if you find them used.
