Ok I read the article in Modified Mustangs and was impressed that the idea was their but they never went through with it but i was just on ebay and i spoted this red one

how would I know if its a real saleen notch. Im having thoughts that its a fake because if its 1 of 4 and the owner knew this, then why did he put 69 000 miles on it and let the stickers go to he//? and did they make them in red? i thought it was only white

they made Saleen notches... they only made a few like mentioned. Some people actually buy cars to drive them ya know...

yea i understand people drive them but if its ONE of FOUR made why would you put that many miles on it? and plus why would you do all that engine work to it so its gotta be a clone

because i dont have an account and not really worried that much about it and plus wouldnt it come up as a lx notch since it was only 1 of 4 and was made from an already existing notch with a vin? thats why i never carfax'd it

they did make 4 NOTCH saleens in 1991 it was in modified mustangs they had a whole article on it and how steve saleen said that the public wouldnt like it and pulled the plug on the idea
