Default GT-40 y303 heads- not the x303

Hey you all...

I like the GT40 Y heads a lot, they work great and I love the weight drop and the fact they flow a lot better...

I would like to hear peoples opinions on these heads. I was thinking now I should have went with some AFR heads, but can't now...

Please let me know what you all think of the current heads I have and the AFR heads... possible swap in the future??

Thanks

Well I needed the Y heads, because I live in Illinois, and the emissions is a bitch... thats why I couldn't go with a bigger cam, I wanted to use the F-cam, but that is not legal, and I have to pass it every two years, so, I don't want to keep fussing around with that issue... but I love the heads... they work great... and the e-cam with my 1.7 rockers work great and sounds mean... I have had many comments about the sound, and people say that is not an e-cam, you're lying.. so

you would be surprised what would pass emissions, ohio is pretty strict also i have a custom grind comp cams said would never pass emissions but i did 229/240 @.50 108 lca. with a 650 holley non emissions carb, if you can tune it right you should pass with any motorsport cam, in the past i have passed with e/b/x/ cams its all in the tune.
