that's why i never use the alt pulley....water pump is the biggest concern....that's why i'm going electric.

I gave up on underdrive pulleys, I lost 3 waterpumps and 2 altornators in 90K miles and swapping back made my car run 10 degrees cooler. Not worth it to me, especially when I had to replace an alt loom when it caught on fire

my car is a 5-speed and I'm looking for more pep in it. It's totally stock at the moment. I saw that 50resto had the UDP in red and then I was gonna get a red alternator too. I got a set of 3.55's to go in the car that I got as a present (FREEEBIEEEE) [/monstor garage voice] so unless I get a really good deal on a 3.73, 3.55 is what's going in!
3.55's are what mine has in it. I liked them and it pulled pretty hard.

wow! what brand did you use? my frpp are doing fine.
