RE: 28inch tire on a GT
Maybe you could get some 15 inch wheels. You could get a much better tire selection. I know you could get turbines with tires on them from petry's for $100. There are plenty of wide tall tires for 15's.

225's are skinny! I've got 9" wide rims, 225's up front (too skinny) and 245's out back (too skinny). My next rears are going to be 275/40 and the fronts I'm going to bump up to 245/45 and I'm just going to have to roll my fenders, that's all there is to it.

are you just looking to knock some gear out for the hiway?
you don't plan on 28" fronts as well do you?
they would work out back ok, you'd never get a good turn though on the fronts w/ out rubbing.
27" might be the better choice though.
it might be worth bagging both sides ($70 total?) just to make sure and use the 28's. that would get your gearing much closer to stock.

Bob what do you mean by bagging both sides ? Yes i am looking to knock some gear out for the highway. and no i do not plan to run a 28 in the front, lol that would look so stupid can we say 4x4. and horatio 102 i would not want anything wider than 9.5inch becasue my tires rub alredy in the front. and a 275 40 is shorter than a stock tire. why do you want a shorter tire? rsw007 thanks for the pics that looks very nice, what control arms do you have?
