RE: How many miles on your orig. engine?
110,000 miles
its my daily driver making over 400rwhp
i think 200,000 is a good point to rebuild the engine or just get a new one. when mine hits 200,000 (assuming it gets there) im just selling my car and builing an efi 408 with an innercooled turbo

RE: How many miles on your orig. engine?
i just bought mine with 198,000 on it. other than a couple pretty massive oil leaks the car ran real good, I drove it a whole 1/2 mile before I ripped out the engine and tranny for a full rebuild. The body and interior is in good shape and for the price I couldnt pass it up

Mine just 241k and finally quit. As long as it wasn't abused it should last. Luckly the previous owner of my car was a nun and didn't do much racing(I think).

ORIGINAL: OnyxCobra
59,600. But the GD rear main drips a lil oil and has managed to coat my clutch with it. However, Ive heard this is a common problem with 5.0s...?

My "new" 84 GT has 277,800 miles on it of course the little 5.0 finally submitted and spun a bearing and forced the owner to sell. The previous owner did regular maintenance and never abused it. This car is still cleaner than most cars with a third of those miles.

Bought my 90GT with 72k..it now has 83k. I bought it from an older guy who had hip replacement surgery and could no longer operate the clutch. No problems except for a leaking rear main which will be taken care of next week when i change the clutch.
