i got like 193,685 orginal mileage on car no problem just basic **** the most expensive beening the air conditioning and tranny but that b/c i treated it like shi* but other wise these engines are the **** i would go with about 150,000 or below and you will be fine

i have a 95 gt with 175K, all my holes have good pressure and i don't burn any oil.

my orginal engine had 150,000 and only had a rear main seal leak everything else was great

mine died at 237K when I dropped a washer down the intake...it ran a 9 second 1/8earlier that month

my 95 has 118k and it works stronger then eva.. all u gotto do is change the oil every 3ks, use quality gass once in a while, and dont kill it..

i would say take it to a local shop first and do an inspection.. i know 5.0s dont pass it as soon as they get a lil rich..

i bought mine half way through 2005 from my uncle and it had 60,ooo miles on it and it now has about 65,800 on her.... the tranny was rebult about 3,800 miles ago and so far so good...

Just rolled 57k on my '86. Bought it last August for $3900 with 56.5k on it. Had it on a lift the other day, still running original exhaust so clean it looked like it just drove off the lot. Must have been garaged all it's life. Of course, that factory exhaust won't live much longer!

86,000 Michigan miles on mine and it runs strong as hell. Starts up in the cold real fast too. The 5.0 is a real solid engine.

I got my 90 5.0 LX hatch for $1200 w/ 150k miles on it. I'm rebuilding it now b/c of some other issues, but the engine was still pretty strong. I just figured I might as well rebuild it since I'm doing everything else.

Mine has a little over 116,000. Ive only been driving it for a month but so far so good! My gas mileage is ok, I really dont know what to expect out of it because its my first car... But hey, going to the store doesnt burn a a quarter of a tank so I think im set! haha
