95 mustangs have gas lights. Just run the car down close to empty and it should come on. Or your bulb burnt out.

RE: How many miles to a tank?
Pointless question as some will fill up sooner/later than others. To make a reasonable comparison let's get off our @$$ and do some math. Calculate your MPG!!! It is pretty simple math.
Fuel tank capacity
1979 12.25g
'80-'81 12.5g
'82-'93 15.4g
Many Stangs had fuel idiot lights. The years and models varied, so I never tried to keep it straight in my head.

RE: How many miles to a tank?
Wow! Thanks for all the replies folks. So I guess my gas mileage is about normal. I was getting about 185, being good. Then I bumped up my timing, and it looks like I should get at least 200, being a bit naughty. I know it's sort of a silly question; I only asked because, although I've heard people talk of 25 mpg, I had trouble imagining anyone getting 300 miles on the tripo between fill-ups. At any rate, thanks for the replies.
Mustang95, you are probably right. Maybe my car doesn't have a gas light. But it does have a light that comes on everytime I get down to 1/4 tank, that says low fuel or something like that. But maybe it's not a gas light. Anything's possible.
