Twisted

So there's that big of a difference in mileage between taking it easy and ******* it out, huh? I don't drive my car that hard, and I get a little over 16 mpg--223 miles from 13.6 gallons (if I let it go that far). I'm just trying to figure out if my mileage is normal, or if something needs to be fixed. Given, I do blast through the gears a couple of times between fill ups. And I guess I could keep the rpms lower in general. Also, I only work like 14 miles away from home--I guess the short trips could eat up a little gas too. At any rate, thanks for the replies.
