yeha you have to cut to install the insert. its best to take the front bumper off and cut the hole for the insert then put in the insert in the car a rivet it in. Then get yourself some fiberglass and fill the cracks in to make it look flush and a cleaner look

I got one of those inserts on mine. I bought it like that though. However, it looks like it was just rivetted in like stanglx2002 said.

in ur sig it looks like there is a gpa between ur hood and that insert..... not that it looks bad i was just wondering if hats how it is supposed to fit..... btw ur car is sweet... get sum vids up with the turbo installed
