Default Where to buy a Shortblock?

Hey everyone,

As most of you know, I have just put the turbo kit on my car and the thing is sweet. However, with 99,xxx miles I know my motor will not last for very long. So my next purchase is going to be a new motor. However, I don't have enough money or need for a long block so I am going to go with a shortblock.

I am looking at getting a 331 or a 347 shortblock. I looked into CHP and I like what I see there. However, I think they use a Sportsman block. Although that is stronger than what I have now I really would like a Dart block. Does anybody know a company that sells shortblocks using the Dart block?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

This company is local to me and it is owned by Dan Millen the mustang Pro 5.0 driver. They do awsome work and have great shortblocks for 347 for around $3000.

I woild buy a dart from Summit then get it machined to where I want it via a trustworthy machine shop or engine biulder. I would go a 331 instead of the 347 route if its a daily driven stang.

I know about coast high. That is who CHP is. Coast High Performance. And like I said they have really good stuff for an awesome price I just don't know about not having a Dart Block. I will want to run serious amounts of boost when i do this and I need to make sure that the block won't crack on me. Dart has a 4 bolt main compared to everyone elses 2 bolt main.

Thank you everyone else for the imput. I will look into those other places.

F-P-S (Ford Performance Solutions). Give them a call; tell them what you want and they will build it. They are a great company; ask for Troy.
