when the ect is bad it will result in cold idle problems
i've never heard of anybody taking off the IAC, its there for a reason
do you plan on putting a power adder on your car? that intake,#30 injectors and f cam
is overkill on a basicly stock motor

Interesting. By removing it, you may have cold start problems, if you have a/c the idle won't be able to be raised by the ecm, It also helps to keep the car from stalling after rapid release of the accelerator. Your car, but I wouldn't remove it. I'd try and fix the problem. Have you tried cleaning it?

do you have the smog crap on the car still or the EGR still hooked up? The EGR sensor was my cold start problem

click on my tech articles link and then go to Smog deletion for the EGR fix
