Default diy vert top

has anybody put a new top on their car, including the frame and motor¿ most upholstry shops say this is a multi day task....is it so hard to do it yourself¿

I removed my top, and there's like 10 lbs of nuts, washers, and bolts holding it all in. It's certainly an all-day job for experienced people with everything handy. First timers it'd probably take all weekend, maybe more to get it right.

is it just the stuff on each side of the rear seat¿ the one im buying is completely assembled, so it just has to be transplanted onto my car
