If your car is an automatic I would get 4.10's and if its a manual I would go with 3.73's. Also, if you do not want to spend the extra cash on the heads you can do the little things like U/L manifold ($550), TB, MA, etc. You will still gain power without the heads but the heads are one of the most restrictive parts of your motor and you will not fully unleash all the potential of the motor until you swap them out.

Along the lines of new heads for our mustangs, I was looking around on summit, jegs, 50resto, and a few other places just looking at prices. I did notice that they all have different size intake runners and combustion chambers. What size would be good to go with?

For me, it would be on a N/A car but would eventually be putting a blower on.

TFS Twisted Wedge are good heads and you could use them w/ the stock pistons.

Go HERE and you can see the differences.

You won't blow them out, but they are probably designed for stock-like springs and those rates, so you won't get very good performance out of them on stiffer, lower springs.

It's your decision, but I would try to sell them on here or ebaY and get sets that work together.
