Default injectors and timing

I searched for these questions already and not coming up with any answers. First off I bought a vortech supercharged 92 lx yesterday.
The supercharger is a v2 with 8-9 lbs of boost, it also has the ignition boost control. The car also has the stock injectors with no upgraded mass airflow. What I need to know is where should my timing be on the car, and what injectors I should be using. Also what should I do with the boost retard switch? where to set it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it runs ok I would leave it alone. Are you having any issues?

No real problems, it revs to 6500 easily, but I think the timing was screwed with for the smog here in calif. I'm going to buy a mass air, and thought I should increase the injectors to 24 lbs just for future items. I don't think the 24lbs will hurt anything. At high rpms, it sounds like it is breaking up a little. I tuned it up with new plugs, wires, rotor and tomorrow a fuel filter. I also called vortech and they said the boost retard should be set at 2 1/2 to 3, but he was rushing me off the phone because they were busy. thanks for the reply

as of now dont touch the boost retard, but get the 24's and maf put that on and get the car dyno tuned. many things can go wrong if you start playing with the boost retard.

I would go with no less then 24s (I would run bigger my self) also a a step colder on the plugs and gap them at 35 to help keep the boost from blowing out the spark may not be to much of a problem with low boost numbers but wont hurt anything. as far as timing I would start at 10 and see how it goes from there be very careful not to detonate the motor. IMO
