wats a compression ratio?

wats a compression ratio?
depends. do you want to run forced air induction? do you want to have to run on racing gas? etc..... any time you force air into a motor (turbo, blower) you need a lower compression ratio. all motor cars usually have higher compression ratios. plus, the higher the compression ratio, the higher octane requirement to prevent detonation. hope this helps a little.

It depends. If you want to keep it naturally aspirated with out forced induction than the higher cmpression ratio is normally better. If you are running forced induction than normally a lower compression ratio is preferred to help control detonation.
