Anyone have any experience with Pro Comp cylinder heads? SBF aluminum heads, 2.02/1.60, 190cc intake runner, 60cc combustion chamber, assembled with .600 lift hyd. roller springs. These heads flowed 279cfm @ .600 lift at a shop 3 miles from my house (not manufacturer's "claimed" numbers). That's 32cfm more @ .600 than a set of OTB TFS Twisted Wedge that were flowed at the same time.

I think it's a fairly great head. And for $925 shipped it's a really good deal.

Couple things here I don't understand.
How did you get an E7 head to cc at 12? Even milled .040 they are not going to be that......
Also, how is the valve job messed up? Did they never touch the vales and only do the seats? If they leak did you look for crap between the valve and the seat? Did you Clover compound them? Were they supposed to be 'multi-angle' valve seats, if so you need multi angles on the valves.........

Does anyone know anythimg one these heads? http://www.dndmotorsports.com/?page=...roduct_id=307&
Very good heads, D&D is here in my home town, and that is where I got my AFR's from. They are a very big Mustang distributor, but those heads are for a big stroker, or major forced induction car with a huge cam.. They are comparable to the AFR 205cc's....

I sort of got screwed by them this week.

I was on their web site LAST week to see how much shipping woul be on the AFR 185s # 1387 and proceeded to checkout to see how much it was going to be total, then it never said final checkout so the next page said Thank you for your order a confirmation of your order will be e-mailed to you. NEVER got an e-mail. E-mailed them to cancel the order. Finally got back to me this week to get my zip code? Then there's 1300 dollar charge on my card. No sign of an invoice or anything. Then I called them at like 10AM CST. No answer whatsoever. Called later that day, got jerked around by 4 people all asking if they could help me AFTER I expliained my story 3 times. Then they said, "Oh, AFR is 5 minutes away from us, we'll have them out this week"... I'm like no way...cancel the order, I'm getting them from somwhere else that has better customer service...CNC Motorsports...They have the apring upgrade I need and also have free shipping...and I talked to one guy that new his stuff...I still haven't gotten my card's charge taken off neither...

Had to let that out, thanks...

Jasper, sorry about the misfortune, but could you please tell us who did the work. I don't want to take my stuff to him when I get head work done.

its a place called motor and electric here in ky. a relative of mine said when my stroke of a 347 is taken to equation when milled 40 thousandths it takes the compression up to 12 so thats why i am having to get dished pistons which isn't really a bad thing but with dished it goes to 9.6. but when we sat the head up and looked through exhaust port u could see daylight instead of just a valve so i know thats not good. Just found something out from the machine shop today they didn't put the hardend seats in like there were suppose to/ what i paid for. the machine shop recommended i take them to small claims court and try to get my money back

Jasper; any E7 head you find will have hardseats in it from factory.
Did you have new valves put in them?
